Canon IP 1500 waste ink tank full reset procedure is as follows:-- 

STEP 1:- Disconnect printer from AC power

STEP 2:- Press and HOLD the POWER button, and connect printer to AC power

STEP 3:- release the the POWER button

STEP 4:- Press the POWER button again.

The procedure to reset is as follows:--

1- press resume button and then press power button
2 - Release the resume button and press 2 more times then release both.
3 - press and release resume 4 times and power 2 times.
