CANON PRINTER DETAILS:

Should You Go For Canon Printer Or Not

Canon is very famous brand. Printer buyers choose Canon printers due to their reputation in industry. The name itself attracts the buyer to go for canon printer products.

But for your information I would like to say, the print resolution for canon ink cartridges is not very impressive compared to Epson color prints.

But canon printers are affordable, the cost of canon printer cartridges is not over expensive and can printers have no issue with refilled or recycled ink cartridges. It lasts long and has good number of printouts.

But one problem is noticed on latest canon print cartridges. There is a copper circuit on each print cartridge. But on canon print cartridges the circuit is made up of very cheap plastic material and due to this the circuit on these cartridges is very delicate. On some cases the cartridge gets short just after refilling. The delicate plastic circuit gets short due to silly reasons, which are hard to believe. The circuit gets pressed and it shorts.
Other wise canon ink-jet printer is not a bad choice at all.

For canon laser printers I will say, canon is making good brand of laser printers too. But most of canon laser printers at present are very much similar to famous HP laser printers.

The laser toner cartridge used is Canon printer can be used in similar model of Hp laser printer and vice versa. Not for All laser printer models, but few models of canon and Hp are similar.Like Canon LBP 2900 cartridge is similar to Hp 1010 and 1020 Printer cartridges.

Let it be laser or ink-jet cannon is worth to buy.

HOW THE PRINTER PRINTS?

Printers Way Of Printing And Per Page Print Costs

WORKING OF YOUR PRINTER

There are two kinds of printer, one is LaserJet and another is ink-jet.

Laser prints by fuser method. The fuser warms and gets hot at required level and this makes the printing possible and inkjet the ink is sprayed from its nozzle and it prints.

For me personally used both forms of printer for years and dealing with repairing  laser and inkjet printers as per my viewpoint, laser printer is one of the best technological creativity triumphs.

This is the short overview of its functioning and working procedure.
There are two main things. One is printer and other is cartridge.

Inside the laser printer there are main parts such as fuser assembly, laser beam, pressure roller etc.

And inside cartridge there is pressure roller, drum unit, doctor blade, wiper blade, magnet roller, etc.

Now when you give a print command to the printer the laser beam in the printer projects an impression of copy on selenium coated, charged rotating drum of the laser cartridge. The laser light generates the negative image of the text to be printed, onto the charged drum. These all works by the simple principle of photo conductivity.

Other part in the laser printer which makes the printing possible is lenses and mirrors.

Laser cartridge selenium coated aluminum Drum is very important part of laser printing.
Inside the laser toner cartridge there is a magnetic toner powder. When you give a command to print the laser printer warms and get ready to print, at these stage the selenium coating on the drum becomes photoconductive.
Photoconductive means it loses charge, only in those areas, which are not to be printed. The drum spins and picks up dried up laser particles, only from those regions which are still charged. As a result, the drum imprints powder onto paper, by the effect of heat and one on one contact with paper. And printed paper comes out. Reading these procedure takes bit of time, but the actual outcome of print is very quick. These all is done in seconds. A normal laser printer takes 2 seconds to print a copy.
So it’s worth buying to experience its working at your office or for your personal use.

Another Best Printing innovation is ink-jet printer.
Go through the inkjet printer working procedure explained below.
The working of Ink-jet printer is simple as compared to laser printer.
The ink-jet printer has main parts like encoder strip, carriage where cartridges are inserted, round encoder, a circuit board.
And most important the ink-cartridge.
Inkjet printers use piezoelectric material.
When the print command is given the electric voltage is applied to that piezoelectric material, it vibrates, changing shape and size. This generates a pressure pulse in the ink fluid filled chamber of the cartridge, making the nozzle spurt out tiny droplets of ink. And with that your printouts gets printed.
For inkjet printer it takes approx 30 to 40 seconds for single printout to print.

Cartridge Cost for laser and inkjets discussed below:

For inkjet printer cost of new black cartridge is approx 15 to 20 dollars and cost of color cartridge is approx 20 to 35 dollars.
The cost of new cartridges varies from printer to printer models.

In the same way cost of new black printing laser cartridge is Approx 55 to 75 dollars.
And cost of per color printing laser cartridge is Approx 50 to 75 dollars.
There are 3 color plus one black laser cartridge in color laser printer.
The 3 main colors are cyan (blue), Yellow and magenta (pink). From these 3 major colors other various colors gets formed and printed.

Refilling cost for printer cartridges:

Normal cartridge refilling cost for black inkjet cartridge is 2 to 3 dollars.
And normal color refilling cost inkjet printer is 3 to 5 dollars.
On some latest printers there is a 3 separate color ink tanks, on that printers per color refilling cost is Approx 2 to 3 dollars.

The refilling cost may decrease more if you go for more low quality inks. But that inks damage the cartridges and print quality is not that good to read.

In the same way cost for black laser cartridge starts from minimum of $ 10 to maximum of $25.The cost varies on quality of laser powder used.

For color laser refilling the per cartridge refilling cost is Approx $15 to maximum of $30.

Printout quantity for inkjets and laser cartridges:

For black inkjet cartridges you get approx 80 to 150 printouts.
For color inkjet cartridges you get approx 60 to 100 printouts.
But if you go for color photo prints then approx 15 to 30 full page prints can be obtained from one color cartridges.

In the sane way for laser print cartridges you get approx 1500 to 2000 print outs for black laser cartridge.

And for color laser prints you get 700 to 1000 color prints , if you go for photo prints then you get approx 400 to 600 color full page photo print outs.
