SHOULD I GO WITH CISS FOR MY INK-JET PRINTER

FACTS OF USING CISS FOR INK-JET PRINTERS


CISS means Continuous Ink Supply System KIT.

Now a days Most of Ink-jet Printer users are option to use CISS, but its not actually worth for the user who has very less printing job.
If you are dealing with bulk printing daily, then CISS is best option for you.
It saves your cartridge refilling cost and also per page printing cost is very less as compared to normal ink-cartridge usage.

But CISS system works on Vacuum .If the air gets formed in the ink passing tubes then print quality will get affected. Also if you don’t keep the INK system at proper level, then also printing problems will be noticed. For example if you keep the system too high then ink will leak in to the printer automatically. If you keep the ink system way too low from printer level then no print out will come, or the print with cutting lines will get printed.
Also if low quality ink is used then ink will get jammed in the print head. On that case complete CISS with Ink cartridge has to be replaced.
If you don’t use your CISS ink regularly then ink towards the Print head gets dried and forms a powder layer and that blocks the holes in printing head. And most of cases the issue is noticed with Yellow color. The Yellow ink forms power quickly then any other color.
And if one color is no printing, then except black all other colors will get affected by it.

So if you have bulk printing jobs then yes go with CISS, it will benefit you. But if you are normal printer user like 2 to 3 or 5 to 10 prints daily, then go with normal printer, don’t get CISS system, it will not make you any benefit.


NOTE: -- If you are using CISS then please keep your printer and CISS bottle away from dust. These dust particles gets into the CISS ink bottles and that gets collected in the ink and mix with ink and pass to the print head with ink flow and that creates lots of problem to printer.


Cartridge refilling ink has many qualities. But that same ink will not work in CISS. There is special CISS ink. With that correct ink, your CISS kit will last long. If you use any kind of normal cartridge ink, then CISS will get blocked with that ink and get damaged.
